Facts about Instant Film:

Polaroid film was invented by Edwin H. Land, who founded Polaroid Corporation in 1937.

Polaroid delivers its signature large, square-format integral film known for a more organic, unpredictable aesthetic. Fujifilm offers smaller to larger formats with faster development, consistent results, and broad accessibility.

Polaroid makes film for i-Type, 600 & SX-70 vintage cameras, and Polaoid Go (mini). Fujifilm makes Instax Film (mini, square, wide) and is the most widely used instant film today.

In 2010, a group called the Impossible Project acquired Polaroid's old equipment and factory in Enschede, in the Netherlands with the stated purpose, "..to re-start production of analog instant film for vintage Polaroid cameras..".

Polaroid film develops in about 60 seconds. Number of shakes not withstanding.
