In addition to his leadership role at Photolab, George had a distinguished career in economics. With over 34 years of experience as an expert witness, George has testified in more than 60 trials in both State and Federal Courts across the country. His extensive analytical expertise kept him in high demand for economic consulting.
George’s dual careers in photography and economics showcase his versatility and commitment to excellence in both fields.

Joe Glass
The Darkroom Technician
Joe Glass is a highly skilled darkroom film developer and production printer with over 40 years of experience in traditional photographic processes stemming from his early days in the 1980s working as a studio assistant. He learned from professionals active in the 1940-60s the creative and traditional techniques for production printing, problem solving and advertising prep production for major photographers and corporations and went on to become production manager at many studios for top photographers and labs around the San Francisco Bay Area. His experience, attention to detail and dedication to preserving the art of darkroom photography make him an invaluable member of the Photolab team for over 20 years. His passion for black & white photography not only supports the lab’s high standards but also helps educate and inspire the next generation of photographers.
Ginger Fierstein
Lead Production Technician
Ginger Fierstein is a talented photographer and the lead photography archivist at Photolab. Known for her creative vision behind the camera and her technical expertise in preserving and reproducing photos, film and digital art, Ginger’s expertise in both traditional and modern techniques guarantees that every project, whether for personal collections or professional archives, is handled with the utmost care and precision. Ginger’s photography spans a range of styles, including street photography, portraiture, and environmental themes. Chris Anderson is a skilled production technician and award winning wedding photographer. He's co-owner of ‘Wild About You Photography’ and documents his world-wide escapades in the video series (JetLag RocknRoll).

Bonnie’s love for both 35mm and 120 film photography informs her remarkable attention to detail and quality control in our color film processing darkroom, production print work, and ensuring orders are taken with customer’s concerns addressed.
Bonnie enjoys using her favorite film camera, a Mamiya 645 loaded with Portra 800 to capture adventures in nature with friends, her dog, and food.

Diego is a passionate photographer and filmmaker who loves the challenges of creating narratives that not only showcase his technical and aesthetic skills but evoke emotion and sensation. He brings these talents to our clients at Photolab in not only providing attention to specific requests and needs of the customer, but in giving guidance to make the best choices for a custom print experience. He can be spotted shooting various cameras on his breaks using his favorite film: Kodak’s TRI-X and would be happy to help you choose the best film for your adventure!
Joel Wiechert
Production Technician
Joel felt that first moment of exhilaration of photography back in 2001 when his grandfather introduced him to his first film camera, a Pentax K1000. The magic of capturing memories whether on film, digital or even his phone is still strong today and Joel loves to share the creative process and his imagery with humanity’s true universal language of photography.
Joel brings his talent with both nature and portraiture to
the lab where he carefully practices quality control and scanning services of film, photos and archiving.
