PHOTOLAB BERKELEY
COMMUNITY
Our talented staff of technicians, archivists and photographers are award winning industry professionals that are passionately engaged in community outreach and education.
Photolab was founded on the principle of community. For years we have offered unparalleled service and support to photographers of all levels. In addition to offering workshops with a wide range of topics and skills, we have engaged with local businesses and individuals to broaden their audience and share their skills with others. Additionally, we support local educational institutions by donating used cameras to schools like Berkeley High School and Laney College, fostering the next generation of photographers. Our commitment to quality and personalized service has also made us a trusted resource for both amateur and professional photographers through out the Bay Area.

Photolab's Community Involvement
We are proud to highlight several community initiatives that we are involved in. This includes active participation in the Buy Local Berkeley campaign, which educates the community about the benefits of supporting locally owned businesses. This initiative helps strengthen the local economy and fosters a sense of community.
Additionally, we offer a camera donation program where used 35mm film cameras are donated to Berkeley High School’s Photo Department, and newer digital cameras are given to Laney College. This program supports photography education and provides students with the tools they need to explore their creativity.
